Sail Your Way Into 2022!

Great Barrier Reef & Gold Coast New Year’s Eve

Today we bring you a holiday tailored to the ocean’s natural course, where the wind and currents dictate your voyage. It’s a 16 night adventure aboard the unique sailing ship ‘Golden Horizon’ with only 140 cabins onboard, that will transport you Southbound in near silent bliss from Cairns to Sydney. Along the way you’ll stop and savour the tropical delights of the Whitsundays, and enjoy a New Year’s Eve to remember watching the fireworks off Surfer’s Paradise.

From Cairns, you’ll set sail south along Australia’s iconic East Coast. You can spend Christmas exploring the sunny Whitsunday Islands – ribbons of white sand, tall palms and brilliant blue waters. Discover Brisbane’s paddle steamers, botanic gardens and the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art before an unforgettable New Year’s Eve watching the fireworks off Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast. Enjoy a day sailing on New Year’s Day before then taking passage to the waters off Coffs Harbour Marina where you might be lucky enough to spot whales in Solitary Islands Marine Park, before you end this voyage in vibrant Sydney.
